Please note it is a small label that can be removed. We apologize and have corrected the error. We spent a good deal of time refining all of the Datsusara Hemp Jiu Jitsu gear. These Hemp Jiu Jitsu Belts are no exception and they are finally back. Completely redesigned with special attention payed to every detail. The new belts feature a 100% organic cotton fill, rank sleeves on all belts, and an embroidered Datsusara in Kangi patch. Due to the properties of Hemp the gi belt naturally fights microbes like staph and other nasties, it's 4X as strong as cotton and environmentally friendly too. We went with 8 rows of strong stitching, rank sleeves, and a 100% organic cotton fill for durability with short drying times (so please wash your belts, there is no honor in transmitting germs). Fully competition legal. These are excellent belts that will last a very long time while performing very well. Designed for working out, combat sports and martial arts but great for any activity where you don't need pockets (pockets are illegal in competitive fighting). The shorts have a nice substantial feel vs synthetic shorts and yet are very comfortable because they breathe well. They are extremely strong, they protect you from staph and other gym nasties due to hemp's natural anti-microbial properties. Featuring the same 100% Hemp twill weave that we use in our gi pants these shorts are very durable and are a great non-toxic answer to typical synthetic shorts. Please note due to a manufacturer labeling error on the care tags these units may show a different fabric content but are 100% Hemp Made of durable 100% Hemp twill (Why Hemp?) The Datsusara Combat Gi is the worlds first 100% Hemp Gi made for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (we have been making Hemp BJJ gis since 2008.) Due to the properties of hemp the gi naturally fights microbes like staph and other nasties, it breathes well, it's stronger than cotton and environmentally friendly too. Great for rolling in any weather and so comfortable you could wear them as pajamas on off days. Hemp is ideal for making martial arts gear. Just to be clear, our gis do not come with a belt and the current patches are embroidered, not removable. Also the blue gis do not yet feature the mon stitching on the knees. Important notes: Make sure to machine wash and dry your hemp gi a few times (cold water for minimum shrinkage and hot for maximum) before use to prevent any shedding of the natural 100% hemp material. Choose size carefully, considering up to 3% shrinkage in hot water. We can do exchanges but the gi must be in new condition with tags intact and you will need to pay for shipping both ways. This hemp jiu-jitsu gi showcases a huge attention to detail right down to the mycological artwork. Featuring the The Algerian Tassili mushroom shaman, the oldest representations of hallucinogenic mushrooms in the world. A cave painting believed to have been created about 6,000-9,000 B.C.E. The mushroom shaman appears on the left shoulder opposite of our inverted fungus mon logo and again on the pants near the upper thigh. If you take a closer look you'll notice on the reenforced knees the subtle black on black Metatron Cube sacred geometry pattern. This complex gi simply represents our constant propulsion into evolution as well as our undeniable connection to nature. The back of the neck features a patch reading “Train by day…” A small patch can be found on the bottom of the skirt displaying the DMT molecule.
