Description

PhytX Peel pH 1.0 This is an exciting product... we're so happy to offer it to you. What is Phytic Acid? Our Phytic Acid is derived from rice. Exfoliating properties allow this ingredient to be incorporated into products where harsh AHAs are not desirable. Phytic Acid provides chemical exfoliation to restore the natural radiance of skin and to deliver a brightening effect for healthy glowing tones. Some background: Phytic Acid was first used clinically in early 1995 as a skin lighting agent. It works by blocking the entrance of iron and copper in the formation of melanin. As well as acting as a melanin formation blocker, Phytic Acid was described by Pugliese (Peter Pugliese, MD. Philadelphia, USA) as an iron specific antioxidant and he demonstrated its chelated action on iron, copper and calcium. This antioxidant action is important to the skin, because oxidation stress is an important factor in the reduction of the inflammatory process, the precursor to post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation lesions. MUAC PhytX Peel: Phytic Acid works best when formulated with AHA's. Phytic is the primary acid in our formulation, but it also contains mandelic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, and hyaluronic. This is a superficial skin peel, and will remove the top layers of the epidermis only. You will feel a stinging sensation while the peeling serum is on the skin. Look under our instructions tab for specific instructions, but the basics will be to cleanse, apply the PhytX Serum until you feel your skin begin to sting... then wait, let the stinging-sensation subside, then moisturize. No, you will *not* be rinsing the peeling serum from the skin. It will self neutralize. Use it at night, go to bed, and wake up with amazing skin in the morning. Benefits:   Exfoliates Smoothes Reduces hyper-pigmentation, PIH, Melasma Reduces Acne Reduces Lines and Wrinkles Tightens Skin Refines Pores Brightens Skin Tones Rejuvenates Dull Mature Skin Balances Oil and Sebum Production An excellent choice for late teenaged skin acne Your full sized kit will include: Your choice of a 1 oz or 2 oz bottle of peeling serum 1 oz Green Tea/Pomegranate Cleanser 1 oz Green Tea Moisturizer Instructions Caution: We also offer an acid-only option. If you choose this option, make *certain* you are using only basic cleansing and moisturizing... no acne related products, no acids, no benzoyl peroxides, no scrubs, no retinoids, no witch hazels, no vitamin c, no cleansing brushes, nothing that exfoliates, that is drying or acne related, no whitening products... just basic cleansing and moisturizing. Always use an SPF 30+ when exposing your skin to the sun.  Acids and retinoids will cause your skin to be more photo-sensitive.  As a "best practice," sunscreen should be use with *any* skin care routine, regardless of the products used. MUAC PhytX Peel is an amazing formula that will give your skin the smooth, youthful, clear, luminous look you desire. We LOVE this product. You will, too! Directions for use: Patch test on a small area of the face (the jawline, beneath the ear) 24 hours before you plan to do the peel. We want to be sure you don't experience undue irritation during the patch-testing phase. If all goes well, move forward with your peel.  We recommend using this product as a night-time treatment:  -Cleanse with the Green Tea Pomegranate Cleanser included with your kit.  -Pat your skin dry. Do not apply peeling serum to damp skin. Make certain your skin is completely dry.  -Dispense a small amount of peeling serum to a cotton pad or cotton ball. -Begin applying the serum at the forehead and work your way down the face.  -Treat neck and chest, if desired.  -If you do not feel stinging, dispense a bit more and reapply until you feel a stinging/tingling sensation.  -Once stinging begins, discontinue the peeling-serum application.  Do not rinse the serum off your face.  Leave it on the skin.  -Wait 15 minutes and allow the serum to fully absorb into the skin. DO NOT MASSAGE INTO THE SKIN.  -Allow the penetration to take place naturally... this is *very* important. -Moisturize with the Green Tea Moisturizer included in your kit.  -Allow all the elements to work while you sleep overnight.  -In the morning, and on subsequent days, you'll see rejuvenated skin.  -The day after your application, avoid all acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxides... any product that is acidic or contains drying ingredients. -Repeat the peel in 7 days.  -Do not use more than once every 7-10 days. Mandelic/Salicylic Peel

Mandelic/Salicylic Peel

Mandelic (15%) Acid, Salicylic (15%) Acid Peel (Instructions listed above.)Our combination Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid Peel gives you a great alpha/beta treatment. Mandelic is an alpha hydroxy acid made from bitter almonds. It's molecular structure is larger than glycolic acid and lactic acid, thus causing it to penetrate the skin more slowly = less topical irritation. We've added the Salicylic Acid to help those of you with pesky acne and acne scarring issues. Benefits: Addresses issues caused by PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation). Helps to resolve general hyperpigmentation issues, particularly those from acne marks and scarring. Rapidly exfoliates dead skin cells and surface debris from the skin. Mandelic acid has antimicrobial/antibacterial properties. Salicylic acid will address clogged pores and sebum, making it an excellent choice for all types of acne, including cystic acne. Loosens blackheads for easy extraction. Excellent for clients with darker skin tones. It does not cause the unwanted, lighter skin tone changes that you might experience with other AHA's. Inhibits the growth of melanin, the cause of brown patches, freckles, uneven skin tone and other sun-related skin care issues. Mandelic acid, with continued use, can help repair sun damaged skin. Aspirin Allergy Caution: If you have aspirin allergies, do *not* use this product.   Nut Allergy Caution: This product is derived from bitter almonds.     What can I expect when using this peel? Upon application, within the first minute-or-so, you will feel very little topical sensation, perhaps none. Then, the skin may have a "warming" sensation, or slight tingling. Remember, that this acid will penetrate more slowly, thus the topical sensation will take a bit longer. Some clients will see actual peeling of the skin. Others will just notice the excellent exfoliation benefits and a brighter, more glowing skin tone.ImportantThis product is *not* a serum. It has a watery consistency, so either dip a q-tip into the bottle for application, or remove the cap, place a gauze pad on the open bottle and tip it over to soak the gauze, then apply. General Cautions: Never use manual exfoliators nor scrubbing brushes within 24 hours of using a peel. Stop Retin A, benzoyl peroxides, acne products and any other drying agents 24 hours before and after using an alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy peel. If you are allergic to aspirin products, never use a salicylic acid nor beta hydroxy peel. Never apply a peel without doing a patch-test first and waiting 48 hours for results. Never apply a chemical peel to inflamed skin. Always read product directions in their entirety and don't take shortcuts. When in doubt about a caution, please write or call us for more information.     Directions for use:  Always patch test! Patch test the areas you plan to treat. If you are doing a facial peel, patch test a small area, about the size of a quarter near the jawline.  Follow the directions, below, rinse thoroughly then wait 24-48 hours to make sure your skin tolerates the peeling serum nicely Directions for doing your peel: Cleanse your skin with a non-acid cleanser. We recommend our Green Tea Pomegranate Cleanser. Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry. pH Prep Solution – Dispense onto a cotton ball or pad and wipe your face to remove oils and dirt from the skin’s surface. If your skin is dry or sensitive this step can be omitted or substituted with Witch Hazel. Your first efforts at peeling: Begin with fewer minutes to ensure a safe experience. Then increase the on-skin-time as your own sensitivity levels allow. Apply the peeling serum. Begin at the forehead and work your way down the face, using thin layers of serum. Don’t rub the serum into the face. Just apply topically, making sure your skin is nicely covered with a thin layer(s).  Leave the peel on for up to 5-10 minutes.  Rinse with warm-to-cool water and cleanse again if desired. Make sure the serum has been completely removed from your skin. We offer a stand-alone Post Peel Neutralizer if you’d like to use it to ensure proper neutralization. Moisturize with a non-acid, non-retinoid moisturizer. We offer Argan Oil and  Green Tea Moisturizer. After the peel:Your skin may feel warm or appear pink. This is normal. However if, during the above process, your skin burns remove the peel immediately with cool water and/or use our Post Peel Neutralizer to stop the peel from processing. The above peels may not produce much in the way of visible peeling, but they are indeed rapidly exfoliating your skin. You will feel the softness immediately post-peel and most certainly the next morning. Your pores will be clean and skin texture will be more refined and radiant.Always use an SPF of at least 30 for several days after peeling. Freshly peel skin is photosensitive and needs SPF protection. If your foundation contains an SPF factor of 30+, this is acceptable as well. Use weekly for 8-10 weeks to see optimal results. Ingredients:SD Alcohol 40B, Mandelic Acid (15%), Salicylic Acid (15%), Propylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Purified Water, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Niacinamide, Inositol, Sodium Benzoate, Phytic Acid.   Legal Disclaimer: Information provided within this entire website is intended to be used as general information only and is in no way intended to replace medical advice, is not to be used as a medical treatment program, nor to diagnose or cure of any disease or medical condition. 15% TCA At Home Peel

15% TCA At Home Peel

TCA Peel At Home Trichloracetic Acid or TCA Peels are a deeper penetrating class of acids excellent for softening deeper wrinkling, reducing/removing less severe facial lines, acne, improving photo-aging, fading hyperpigmentation (freckles, "age" spots), reducing scars (not keloid scarring, however), reducing conditions with/without scarring, reducing and/or completely removing upper lip lines. Improved skin coloration/brightness will be seen after peeling, with a fresh, more refined texture to the skin. TCA Home Peels Penetrate Skin Deeper than Most Acids TCA peels generally tighten and lift the skin.  Start with our 12.5% peel if you've never used TCAs. Once you've become accustomed to using TCA's at home, you may go up to 15%, 18%, or 30% adjustable peel kit.Clients should only utilize a 30% adjustable peel kit if they tolerate 18% well.  Our 30% Adjustable TCA kit is strong and is not recommended for beginners.A TCA peel of 12%, 15%, 18%, or 30% at a dermatologist's office would cost at least $500. What's included in our TCA Chemical Peel Kit? Choose from 1/2 oz, 1 oz, and 2 oz Kits The kit includes TCA acid, protective gloves, green tea/pomegranate cleansing gel, post peel neutralizer, and directions. Reagent grade is the highest purity level obtainable. The American Chemical Society (ACS) establishes the laboratory standards for all Regent grade chemicals. Please be cautious when purchasing online peels. We use only FDA-registered laboratory facilities to ensure the highest purity medical grade and professional formulations. Beware of TCA "homegrown" concoctions being offered on eBay and sub-standard websites. Some websites boast personal licensing in the skincare field and the qualifications of their "chemist." Others offer rock-bottom pricing. There's a reason for this.....their products have *not* been formulated in registered, quality-controlled FDA Lab facilities. Quality control ensures the purity and safety of the product. FDA Lab Registered facilities are monitored (unannounced visits by FDA reps), and must adhere to strict GMP (good manufacturing practices). FDA Lab formulated products ensure you are getting products handled by certified chemists, working in quality-controlled laboratory facilities registered with the FDA. Our lab is FDA and EPA registered, certified for GMP. FDA lab formulated products come with certifications that are kept on file for proof of formulation. That's your guarantee the product advertised is indeed what you are receiving. TCA Pre-Peel Instructions: Using alpha-hydroxy acids like glycolic, mandelic, and lactic acid for a week before your TCA peel will help "prime" the skin. No alpha hydroxy acid or other acids should be used the same day as your TCA peel. Priming the skin isn't required, however, it may help you have a more successful peeling experience. Prep your skin with our Retinol or Alpha Hydroxy Peels before using our harsher TCA peels (glycolic, lactic, mandelic). If you are using this peel primarily for hyperpigmentation issues, use our 40% Lactic Acid Peel, along with our Fade Serum for 2-3 weeks pre-peel. Use the peel once weekly and the serum twice a day. Please EXPAND the pink boxes below to ensure that you have read all of the cautionary material.    Frequently Asked Questions Is It Safe To Do TCA Peel At Home? Leave the peel on for up to 5 minutes.
