The Pergear 14mm F2.8 Ultra-wide lens is designed for Full-frame Sony E-mount, Nikon Z-mount, Canon RF-mount, and Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 21mm equivalent focal length. 13 Elements in 9 groups, 2 aspherical elements and 5 ultra-high refractive index glass, 10 aperture blades help to control distortion and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and accurate rendering. 3 extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and colour accuracy. Impressively wide 114° angle of view pairs with a rectilinear design, which renders subjects with minimal distortion in order to suit the landscape and architectural applications. The bright f/2.8 aperture is designed to suit work in a variety of lighting conditions and also for controlling depth of field and isolating subject matter. The Nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Manual focusing design and a minimum focusing distance of 22cm suit working with close-up subjects. The clicked aperture ring is stepped with the right amount of resistance and click, marking full stops from F/2.8 to F/22. Equipped with an 82mm filter adapter, the Pergear 14mm F2.8 II provides versatility in terms of creative options.
